THE GAME

Truco is card game that is played with two or four players. The dirty deck contains forty cards(without eight, nine and ten) and the clean deck twenty-seven cards in the mineiro version or twenty-four cards in the paulista version. The matches are called the 'hand' and each hand has three rounds. One hand can value one, three, six, nine or twelve points in the paulista version or two, four, six, ten or twelve points in the mineiro version.

OBJECTIVE

Being the first player or team to score twelve or more points.

RULES - TRUCO MINEIRO AND TRUCO PAULISTA

1) Number of players:
Two or four players.

2) Deck:
One deck with forty cards(dirty deck) or twenty-four cards(clean deck - paulista) or twenty-seven cards(clean deck - mineiro).

3) Shuffle, cut and distribution:
The first match, the player who deals the card is choosen randomly
The player who shuffles the cards is the same who deals.
The player who cuts the deck is on the right of the player who deals(Only team).
The player who starts the match is on the left of the player who deals(Only team).
Each player receive three cards

4) How to play:
The player who plays the highest card win the round and the player or team who wins more round win the hand.
In each hand there are two kind of cards: commons and trumps.

4.1) Rank of common cards(from high to low)

• Dirty deck: 3, 2, A, K, J, Q, 7, 6, 5, 4(not depend of suit)
• Clean deck - paulista: 3, 2, A, K, J, Q(not depend of suit)
• Clean deck - mineiro: 3, 2, A, K, J, Q(not depend of suit), Four of Clubs, Seven of Diamonds and Seven of Hearts

4.2) Rank of trumps cards(from high to low) - Mineiro
The rank of trumps cards depend on the suit (from high to low):
Four of Clubs(Zap), Seven of Hearts(Copeta), Ace of Spades(Espadilha) and Seven of Diamonds(Ouros)

4.3) Rank of trumps cards(from high to low) - Paulista
The face value of trump cards is determined by the fliped card and this value is equal the next value apointed by fliped card.
The rank of trumps cards depend on the suit (from high to low):
Clubs(Zap), Hearts(Copeta), Spades(Espadilha) , Diamonds(Ouros)

5) Increasing the value of hand
5.1) Requesting truco
All players, in your turn, can request 'Truco' and the opponent pair must answer if they accept, run or ask six.
In truco mineiro, none of player or team can't request 'Truco' twice in a row.

5.2) Answering a request of truco
If the player or team accepts the request of truco, the value of hand will be three(paulista) or four(mineiro).
If the player or team doesn't accept (run) the request of truco, the opponent player or team will earn one(paulista) or two(mineiro) points.
If the the player or team askes six, the opponent player or team must answer if they accept, run or ask nine(paulista) or ten(mineiro).

5.3) Answering a request of six
If the player or team accepts the asked of six , the value of hand will be six.
If the player or team doesn't accept the asked of six , the opponent player or team will earn three(paulista) or four(mineiro) points.
If the player or team askes nine(paulista) or ten(mineiro), the opponent player or team must answer if they accept, run or ask twelve.

5.4) Answering a request of nine(paulista) or ten(mineiro)
If the player or team accepts the asked of nine or ten, the value of hand will be nine or ten.
If the player or team doesn't accept the asked of nine or ten, the opponent player or team will earn six points.
If the player or team askes twelve, the opponent player or team must answer if they accept or run.

5.5) Answering a request of twelve
If the player or team accepts the asked of twelve, the value of hand will be twelve.
If the player or team doesn't accept the asked of twelve, the opponent player or team earn nine(paulista) or ten(mineiro) points.

6) Special Cases
6.1) In case of draw
6.1.1) First round : If the first round finishes drawed the pair that win the second round will win the hand.
6.1.2) Second round : If the second round finishes drawed the pair that win the first round will win the hand.
6.1.3) Third round : If the third round finishes drawed the pair that win the first round will win the hand.
6.1.4) All rounds : If all rounds finish drawed the pair that deal the cards will win the hand.

6.2) Hand of ten or eleven
The player or team that score ten(mineiro) or eleven points first can decide that will play or won't the next hand and the team's players can see the cards of each other.
If the player or team choose to play, The value of hand will be three(paulista) or four(mineiro) points and if the player or team choose not to play, the opponent player or team will earn one(paulista) or two points.
Nobody can request 'Truco' in Hand of Ten or Eleven.

6.3) Hand of iron
When both player or teams score ten(mineiro) or eleven(paulista) points the next hand will be the 'Hand of Iron' and nobody can request 'truco'.The player or team who wins this hand will win the game.

SINGLE PLAYER MODE

In this mode you are able to play a single match or tournament against the AI.

1) Reward - Single Match
There will be rewards in case of victory or defeat.

2) Tournament
The player must win four games in a row in order to win the tournamanet.
The player will only earn the tournament reward when he wins the final.

MULTIPLAYER MODE

In this mode, two or four players are able to play a game together.
Each player has 99 seconds to player his card.
In order to create a private room or public room or join in public room, you will need blue coins.
*PAY ATTENTION: You are able to play in multiplayer mode only when there are other players available to play in this mode.

1) Create a private room

1. Press the padlock button.
2. Type the name of room.
3. Type the password of room.
4. Select the rule: Mineiro or Paulista.
5. Select the number of players: two or four.
6. Define the partnership: yes(team) or no(individual)
7. Select the type of deck: dirty or clean
8. Press the confirm button
9. The game will start when all players come in the room.

2) Join a private room

1. Press the "Join" button.
2. Type the password of room.
3. Press the confirm button.
4. The game will start when all players come in the room.

3) Create a public room

1. Press the multiusers button.
2. Select the rule: Mineiro or Paulista.
3. Select the number of players: two or four.
4. Define the partnership: yes(team) or no(individual)
5. Select the type of deck: dirty or clean
6. Press the confirm button
7. The game will start when all players come in the room.

4) Join a public room

1. Press the "Join" button.
2. Press the confirm button.
3. The game will start when all players come in the room.

5) Reward
There won't be reward if any player leaves before the end of game.

In this place you can purchase avatars, decks, coins and gens.

1) Purchasing a item
Press the desire item and press the button confirm.

STATISTICS

In this place you can see your performace, leaderboards, achievements, items and change your name.

1) Acessing your items
Pressing the button inventary the player can acess your itens.
You can change your current item pressing the desire item.

2) Change the name and choose a country

The user may change his player's name and chooses a country.

LEADERBOARDS

The player can send his statistics and see the game's leaderboards.

ACHIEVEMENT

In this screen, you can see all your trophies and medals.
